First of all, I am trying to get better with this "blog" idea so be patient with me! :)
I can honestly say my life has completely changed as of August 14, 2009. I would say it changed as of December 30, 2008 (when I found out I was pregnant) but it really didn't COMPLETELY change until my daughter was born. I never imagined I would be able to love this much! Its an amazing feeling to wake up every day and be somebody's MOMMY! I love every second of every day and I try my best to soak it all in. I have taken probably 2,000+ pictures of her and she is just 3 weeks old today! I bought a video camera too so that I can capture all of the sweet moments :) Savanah has already changed so much in just 3 weeks. She was so tiny when she was born (6 lbs 1 oz) and in just 3 weeks has really started to fill out more. I can tell mostly in her stomach, legs and sweet cheeks! At her 2 week appt she weighed 6 lbs 9 oz. We go back in another week for her 1 month check up. I am interested to see how much she will weigh then! Dr.Baliga is her pediatrician. LOVE LOVE LOVE him!
A little more about Savanah...
1. She LOVES to be swaddled in a blanket
2. Follows my voice when she hears it :)
3. Sleeps with Mommy (I know I know...already spoiled)
4. HATES to be naked
5. At this point, can't decide if she likes bathtime or not. She has some nights she LOVES it, and some nights she HATES it!
6. Her name is spelled with 1 "n"!!! I have already begun to see she will have problems with this in the future. Yes, I did mainly get her name from SAVANNAH GA (seeing all the signs on the way to visit my sister in Warner Robins GA since she moved there when I was 4) but decided to spell it different. Her middle name was just a favorite and there again, decided to make it unique by spelling it "Karsyn". I thought the "k" and "y" made it look more girly :)
7. She LOVES her paci. There is ONE in particular that is her favorite (I think its a MAM name brand). I will be in deep doo doo if I lose it!
There will be many many more updates to come in the future! I promise to post pics of her first 3 weeks in another blog!
